Weigela is very easy to care for – just plant it in a bright, sunny spot and well-drained soil. If you wish to prune it, do so immediately after flowering in spring. Once your plant is mature, it’s a good idea to remove 1-3 of the heaviest, oldest stems each year to keep the plant lush and full.
