Prunus laurocerasus βOtto Luyken’
This compact variety of the Cherry Laurel provides a smaller, dense, spreading, evergreen shrub, ideal for hedging and privacy screening. While maintained, this variety will remain at a height between 3 to 4 feet, but left untrimmed can reach up to 6 to 10 feet. This evergreen will keep a dark green foliage all year long, blooming tiny white flowers in April and May providing strong aromas. The mid-summer months give way to small dark fruits which are ideal for attracting local bird populations.
