A cousin of the ever-popular ‘Skip’ Laurel, Mariblon laurels are a narrower version of Skip Laurel and make an excellent choice for privacy screening in slim areas. First developed in Europe, ‘Mariblon’ has a beautiful, dark-green, shiny leaf and offers mildly fragrant white flower spikes in May followed by red to black fruit in summer. This narrow variety grows 10′ tall by 2-3′ wide. They can handle full-sun to shade conditions. ‘Mariblon’ Laurels are evergreen
As seen in our photos, ‘Mariblon’ Laurel make an excellent evergreen privacy hedge.Â
